SAP Business One, in which OptiProERP is natively embedded, is fully invested in improvements for 2023 that will provide many valuable new features. Rainer Zinow, Senior Vice President and Head of SAP Midmarket Product Management, created his annual video outlining the SAP Business One Road Map and planned enhancements.

The most crucial factor for SAP’s product strategy is ensuring that each product’s core is robust, including regulatory compliance, security, and infrastructure. In addition, there is work underway to have SAP Business One meet future cloud requirements.
SAP has developed a solution to manage the carbon footprint for SAP Business One in 2023. It created the SAP Business Technology Platform that helps manufacturers get a quick insight into the carbon footprint of their products. It will work with all SAP products and will be available for Business One in 2023.
SAP is also making it easier for its partners to get product extensions up and running with available APIs. As a result, they hope more products will be created to help with carbon footprint management and other areas, such as the ability to use cryptocurrencies that many desire.
SAP Business One will incorporate machine learning and artificial intelligence to reduce human intervention. Bots will be used to cut down on steps that humans are currently doing.
SAP will expand identity and authentication management using single sign-on technologies in 2023. In addition, they plan to provide user-defined fields and new tabs with added functionality. They also plan to incorporate the Horizon user interface which should enhance the user experience.
SAP Business One has over 80,000 installations and 1.2 million users. Therefore, SAP is looking for their partners’ cooperation to ensure they stay on track with users’ needs.
