Manager – Marketing

Location: Corporate Office Laguna Hills, CA or Remote

Job brief:

We are looking for a competent Marketing Manager to be in charge of the OptiPro marketing ventures with predominant focus on digital marketing. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to establish the company’s market presence and help us find a “voice” that will make a difference.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. He/She will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.

The goal is to exponentially increase the company’s sales and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors in a crowded market space.

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, with a focus on digital marketing, to create awareness of the OptiPro brand and OptiPro ERP
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
  • Plan and execute campaigns for brand promotion, the OptiPro value differentiators and OptiPro ERP.
  • Monitor progress and submit performance reports
  • Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, managing/improving website and its content and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements
  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
  • Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords

You should have:

  • Extensive strategic and tactical experience in marketing and in particular digital marketing Experience working in a small to mid-size software company
  • Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently
  • Experience in the ERP software and cloud market would a strong asset
  • Experience in a startup environment, would be an asset
  • Evidence that you are a Top Producer (as defined by lead conversion rates, web traffic improvement, lead magnet performance, SEO analytics
  • 5-8 years of experience in hands-on digital marketing)

  • Demonstrated skills in technical, content writing and repurposing of content to match different web marketing vehicles (white papers, webinars, blogging, social media, website verbiage, email campaigns, et al…)
  • A strong understanding of branding and digital branding processes and execution

Required Education:

  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field (Master’s Degree is a plus)

Senior Account Executive

Job brief:

We are looking for a high energy Senior Account Executive with a proven track record of consistent over-achievement in ERP solutions sales.  Working in concert with our Marketing and Presales group you will develop and execute a successful sales strategy in closing deals, predominantly in North America. OptiPro is a new player in the discrete manufacturing and distribution market. We are building a global company – the ‘right fit’ candidate is highly dynamic and entrepreneurial. You will work with a close-knit team to establish the company’s market presence and help us propagate a “voice” that will make a difference.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique sales techniques that differentiate OptiPro in a crowded market space. He/She will be a skilled sales strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.

Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Identify qualified prospects for the OptiPro products and in conjunction with our Presales Team, lead these prospects through the sales cycle and consistently close deals
  • Working with our Marketing Group, ensure that promotional activities align with sales objectives – including high volume lead generation and brand awareness
  • Keep abreast of sales and marketing trends with ERP and in particular the evolving needs of our target market and communicate accordingly, internally and externally.
  • Be a positive evangelist of the OptiPro brand and products
  • With Management, establish sales volume targets, monitor progress and submit regular performance reports. Actively communicate challenges and solutions to Management
  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s market movements
  • Oversee implementation project budgets and work with the Professional Services Team to ensure seamless allocation of resources amongst projects
  • Ensure supreme customer satisfaction with regular follow-ups on existing customers and report to Management on improvement opportunities
  • As the prime customer-facing advocate for OptiPro you will always portray a professional, dynamic, positive, knowledge-leader image

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Executive in SME ERP, consistently exceeding sales targets

  • 10+ years of strategic and tactical sales experience. Experience working in the SME market
  • Demonstrated experience and sales results within a small dynamic company, exceeding goals consistently
  • 10+ years of experience in ERP software is required.
  • Experience in cloud solution sales and discrete manufacturing/distribution would be a strong asset
  • Experience in a startup environment, would be an asset
  • Evidence that you are a Top Producer (as defined by sales conversion, deal profitability and customer satisfaction)
  • A sharp focus on your goals
  • The ability to create, shape, advance and execute the vision of sales and the department
  • Emotional intelligence
  • A powerful work ethic
  • An ability to work effectively and self-motivated with a minimum of supervision in a small team environment
